Upon touchdown Petit’s suburban hell turns into a life-or-death nightmare. He is caught up in a violent, orchestrated coup, alone with Wellington, and the morally ambiguous Venegas, to escape the country alive.

Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople) stars in this Aotearoa coming-of-age tale from directors Paul Middleditch (A Cold Summer) and Hamish Bennett (Bellbird). Co-starring Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords), James Rolleston (Whina) and Oscar-nominee Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting), the film is set during the 1981 Springbok tour of New Zealand when the arrival of the South African national rugby team set off nationwide protests against apartheid and racism.
